Training
Training that proves itself — and moves the org chart when it completes.
Assign by role or automatically as part of onboarding. Track completion, store the certificate, and watch the employee’s skill profile update. This is the part of ODS we have been building for clients for years.
The problem it removes
A standalone LMS knows who completed a course. It does not know who was supposed to.
It has no view of your org chart, so assignment is manual and rules are enforced by memory. It does not know someone started last week, so compliance training waits until a person notices. And when the certificate expires, nothing happens — because nothing is watching.
Completion data then lives in one system while the employee record lives in another, and proving that a specific person was qualified on a specific date means reconciling two exports by hand.
Assignment that does not rely on memory
Required by role
Attach courses to the seat. Anyone who holds that seat is assigned them — on hire, on transfer, and on promotion, without a person deciding each time.
Triggered by onboarding
Day-one compliance training arrives as part of the onboarding plan, dated before it is needed rather than after someone notices the gap.
Recurring and expiring
Certifications with a renewal window reassign themselves before they lapse. Expiry becomes a scheduled event, not a discovery.
Assigned to close a gap
When gap analysis shows someone short of what their seat or their next seat requires, the course that closes it can be assigned directly from that finding.
| Employee | Seat | Required course | Status | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| M. Okafor | Field Technician | Lockout / Tagout | Completed Mar 4 | Mar 2027 |
| J. Reyes | Field Technician | Lockout / Tagout | Due in 6 days | — |
| S. Lindqvist | QA Analyst | GLP Refresher | Completed Jan 19 | Jan 2027 |
| A. Boone | Maintenance Lead | Confined Space Entry | Overdue 11 days | Lapsed |
Assignment comes from the seat, so this table builds itself. Courses shown are illustrative — yours are mapped to your roles and your regulatory environment during implementation.
Your content, your portal
HCAI has built custom training programs for federal contractors, diagnostic labs, downhole tool manufacturers, financial services firms, and technology companies. ODS is where that work now lives.
Built around your operations
Courses reflect your equipment, your procedures, and your regulatory environment — not a generic library that almost fits.
Delivered under your brand
Employees train in a portal carrying your logo and language. They are not sent to a third-party site to complete your requirements.
Evidence stored on the record
Completion, score, date, course version, and certificate attach to the employee — the same record an auditor will ask about.
Your courses, mapped to your roles
The assignment rules are configured to your operation. Which seats require what, how often it repeats, and where the content comes from are all set with you.
Content from wherever it lives
Existing SOPs and slide decks, material you already license, or new modules we build with you. The catalog is assembled from what you have plus what is missing.
Renewal windows you define
Annual, biennial, per-contract, or on whatever schedule your regulator sets. Recertification reassigns itself on your cadence instead of a generic one.
Rules by role, department, or site
Assignment can follow the seat, the department, the location, or an onboarding trigger. Most clients use more than one, and the rules can be layered.
Where it hands off
Training is the module that writes back. A completion is not an endpoint — it changes what the organization knows about its people.
← Onboarding
Required courses arrive as onboarding tasks with real due dates, so the first weeks produce a defensible compliance record rather than a backlog.
→ Career Development
A completion updates the employee’s skill profile, which recalculates their gap against their current seat and any seat they are a candidate for. Succession readiness moves on its own.
Continue through the lifecycle
See a completion close a skill gap
In twenty minutes we finish a course on the call and show the employee’s skill profile and succession readiness update in front of you. Real data, no slides. We answer your pricing questions on the same call.
