These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of thehcai.org and the text messaging program run by Human Capital Advancement Initiative (“HCAI”, “we”, “us”). By using this website or opting in to receive text messages from us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or the messaging program.
SMS Messaging Program
Program name: HCAI Text Messages
What we send: When you opt in, HCAI sends text messages about your requests and your relationship with us. These include demo scheduling confirmations and reminders, replies to questions you send us, follow-ups about the Workforce Development System (WDS), and account and service notices. If you separately give Express Consent to marketing messages, we may also send occasional updates and offers about WDS.
How you opt in: You opt in by giving us your mobile number and agreeing to receive text messages on a form on our website, by texting us first, or by telling us directly that we may text you. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your requests and interactions with us.
Cost: Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for details.
How to opt out: You can cancel at any time. Reply STOP to any message, or text STOP to (713) 804-9551. We will send one message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and after that you will receive no more text messages from us unless you opt in again. Replying CANCEL, END, QUIT or UNSUBSCRIBE also works.
Help: Reply HELP to any message for help, email info@theHCAI.org, or call (713) 804-9551.
Carriers: Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder of the mobile number, or have the account holder’s permission, to opt in.
Your privacy: We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or your text messaging opt-in and consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
Use of This Website
You may use this website for lawful purposes, to learn about HCAI and WDS and to contact us. You agree not to misuse the website, including by trying to gain unauthorized access, interfering with how it works, or submitting false or misleading information.
